This place has a very healthy and delicious menu. I've been going to this place for over 5+ years and it never disappoints. Service has been good along with a laid back atmosphere.

El Koreano - very good - tasty beef, a little bit of banchan, rice was mushy La Bamba - very good - great flavors, chicken was a bit dry and could have used more mayo sauce. also the black beans were a little watery. rice was mushy again, might just be the way they cook it Overall good healthy food, will keep going! Parking behind in the lot, though it seems to be for the super market.

It's the sister restaurant of Chinollo (https://www.yelp.com/biz/chinollo-carson?hrid=kW3xW9hca6aJDdatk6dDwQ&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)), so if you've been there, you've been here, in a virtual sort of way. From what my sister and niece tell me, the menu is identical at both places, and the physical layout is also very similar. Rabano is more comfortable, for some reason. Maybe it's that the storefront is close to the street rather than set far back in the strip mall's parking lot? It looks like it used to be a donut shop--and maybe it was--but they've done a good job of replacing the plastic and linoleum with wood and laminate. The food is very good. I don't remember what I had the last time I was here, but on both of my visits, my taste buds were happy campers. The people who work here are nice, but because it's an order-first, find-your-own-seat kind of place, you don't see much of them once they've delivered your food. If you come with a group larger than three, beware that different things can take vastly different amounts of time for them to prepare. They don't warn you about this, so it can be annoying. They bring out whatever's ready right away, whether or not anything else from your table is ready. The food is so good, though, that it's worth waiting on the kitchen's capriciousness.

Rabano is a solid spot that serves up some really delicious fusion of cuisine that's hard to get elsewhere. We're a huge fan of the El Koreano bowls and the Saltados. The flavors are great and it's almost the standard for us. The option to change the base from white rice to ancient grain is also a nice touch as well! My sister loves the Pork Belly Knockout but some reason it's just not for me. A bit too sweet for my taste! Another item that I've been getting recently are their burritos, especially the California. Nothing will ever come close to San Diego's California burritos but Rabano has a solid one! Edamame wontons, sounds weird but it works. Sweet potato fries are a good option as well, but not a fan of either of their other fries. I also really like their Jasmine Milk Tea. I get it at 25% sugar with half & half (there's other milk options), and it is a solid solid milk tea. Dining in can be really hectic since the space is not that big. Wait times for food can be very sporadic as well.
